WE ARE ON A MISSION TO MAKE LIFE SWEETER (AND MORE SAVORY).

SINBUN was founded by Jake and Bri Lastrina in 2022. The couple both made careers in the emerging brands market for startup food and beverage companies. Exposure to the startup work culture and disruptive products, encouraged them to pursue their dream of starting a business of their own.

THE IDEA

Nostalgic memories of making cinnamon buns during the holidays helped the couple identify a stale market that has experienced little to no change or differentiation. This sparked their idea for a product that’s never been done before: the Savory SINBUN.

BRINGING THE CONCEPT TO LIFE

With an innovative concept and personal passion for food, Jake and Bri enrolled in the Start It Business Course to fully comprehend the restaurant industry. This led to their time at the Salt City Test Kitchen where they developed a strong proof of concept and perfected the product which is what you see today.
